Established in 1888, Kogarah Concert Band is Australia's longest-running community band, offering a rich musical heritage. Rehearsals occur every Wednesday evening from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Kogarah School of Arts Building. The band welcomes musicians of all ages and skill levels, performing a diverse repertoire that includes classical, big band/swing, movie and show tunes, jazz, and rock. They actively participate in community events, festivals, and private functions, providing both full concert band and small ensemble performances. New members are encouraged to join and experience the band's vibrant musical community.
