Nestled in the rugged bushland near the Yarra Valley, Kinglake Distillery crafts single malt whisky using unfiltered spring water from Chyser Creek, which rises on the property. The distillery operates off-grid, utilizing solar and generator power, with an on-site dam recycling cooling water. Committed to sustainability, it has achieved carbon-neutral certification and contributes to reforestation efforts. The 2,500-litre copper pot still, handmade in Tasmania, produces a heavy, flavorful spirit. The distillery offers a unique tasting experience, allowing visitors to sample their distinctive whiskies in the heart of Victoria's high country.
