
Killara Distillery, nestled in Richmond, Tasmania, is Australia's first second-generation distillery, producing premium single malt whisky, Apothecary Gin, and other seasonal spirits. Founded by Kristy Lark-Booth, a second-generation distiller with over 18 years of experience, the distillery operates most days, offering cellar door tastings and tours. Visitors can enjoy a personalized tour of the distillery and bond store, followed by a tasting flight of three whiskies, including one straight from the barrel. The property is being established to grow as much of the produce on-site for use in the distillery, including barley for whisky, herbs for gin, grapes for brandy, and other fruits for seasonal liqueurs and spirits.
