Originally constructed as a Temperance Hall, it was acquired by the Freemasons in 1908 and has been continuously serving as a Masonic Lodge since 1909. The building features a simple rectangular design with a classical porch and Doric columns. In 1986, it was listed on the New South Wales Heritage Register, recognizing its state significance. The attached hall, opened in 1976, offers a spacious area with polished timber floors, a kitchen, and toilets, making it suitable for various events. The venue is available for hire and is conveniently located near Hindmarsh Park, a public green space featuring lawns, pathways, a playground, and a war memorial.
