Kensington Oval, located at The Parade, Kensington Park SA 5068, is a historic venue in Adelaide's eastern suburbs. Established in 1875, it has evolved from hosting Australian Rules Football and tennis to becoming Adelaide's premier athletics facility in the 1960s, known as the Olympic Sports Field. In 1998, with the opening of Santos Stadium, the oval returned to its roots as a cricket ground. Today, it serves as the home ground for the Kensington Districts Cricket Club, hosting grade and women's cricket matches. The venue features a single grandstand, with the rest of the ground surrounded by a hill, offering a unique and picturesque setting for cricket enthusiasts.
