Kensington Neighbourhood House

Established in 1975, Kensington Neighbourhood House is a community-managed charity located at 89 McCracken Street, Kensington. It offers a variety of low-cost activities and groups, volunteering roles, adult education, and training opportunities to foster community connections and prevent social isolation. The house also hosts the McCracken Street Food Share Pantry, a community garden, and the Kensington Seed Savers, promoting local food sovereignty and environmental sustainability. Open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, it serves as a welcoming space for all.
