The Rural Transaction Centre houses a branch of Coastline Credit Union, a hairdresser, and access to Centrelink services. Every Thursday, the centre hosts "The Meeting Place," offering tea, barista coffee, and homemade cakes, alongside the Kendall Market Bazaar featuring fruits, vegetables, arts, crafts, and giftware. The Community Global Food Garden provides seasonal fresh produce for pick and pay. Bookends @ Kendall is a community book exchange open to all, with books starting from $2. The centre is also home to the Kendall Chronicle, the community newspaper.
