Nestled in the heart of Kendall, the historic Kendall Community Centre, also known as Kendall Hall, has been a cornerstone of the community since its establishment in 1910. This heritage-listed venue offers a range of facilities, including the Kendall School of Arts Hall, available for hire and featuring a supper room. The Community Technology Centre provides services such as computer and internet access, photocopying, document scanning, laminating, and Countrylink train tickets. The Rural Transaction Centre houses a branch of Coastline Credit Union, a hairdresser, and access to Centrelink services. Every Thursday, the centre hosts "The Meeting Place," offering tea, barista coffee, and homemade cakes, alongside the Kendall Market Bazaar featuring fruits, vegetables, arts, crafts, and giftware. The Community Global Food Garden provides seasonal fresh produce for pick and pay. Bookends @ Kendall is a community book exchange open to all, with books starting from $2. The centre is also home to the Kendall Chronicle, the community newspaper.
