As one of Australia's largest and most respected running clubs, it hosts both winter and summer road racing series, track events, and the Illawarra's largest fun run, 'The Fitness Five'. Affiliated with Athletics NSW and Athletics Australia, the club fosters a friendly, non-elitist environment, welcoming everyone from seasoned athletes to those simply aiming to stay fit. The clubhouse also hosts events like Red’s Backyard Ultra, a last-one-standing race set on a NSW State Cross Country course.
