Karawatha Reserve, located at Baden Terrace in O'Sullivan Beach, offers a nature-inspired playground featuring large rocks, wooden stepping mounds, and dirt paths for biking or scootering. The play equipment includes a nest swing, three in-ground trampolines, a slide accessible via steps or ropes, a climbing rope wall, wooden spinning tops, a seesaw, a springy log ride for children, and an outdoor table tennis table. Adjacent to the Karawatha Community Centre, the reserve also provides sports courts, a basketball ring, tennis courts, water fountains, electric BBQs, and a new seating area. The area is not fenced and lacks shade cloth; however, as existing and newly planted trees mature, shade will increase. Toilets are located inside the community hall and may not be available when using the playground. Suitable for all ages, the Onkaparinga Council has thoughtfully developed this local play space.
