The Kapunda Swap Meet, held annually at the Kapunda Trotting Track on Hancock Road, offers a vibrant marketplace for enthusiasts and collectors. Visitors can explore a diverse range of items, including cars, car parts, automotive accessories, leather goods, jams, conserves, confectionery, memorabilia, electrical and lighting products, plants, paintings, clothing, and tools. The event also features a variety of food options, such as BBQ bacon and egg sandwiches, steak sandwiches, hamburgers, sausages, pies, pasties, sausage rolls, cakes, soft drinks, iced coffee, and an onsite coffee van. For sellers, outdoor sites measuring 6 x 3 meters are available for $15, and under-cover sites measuring 3 x 3 meters for $20. Setup times are from 10 am to 6 pm on the Saturday before the event and from 6:30 am on the event day. The swap meet is typically scheduled for the fourth Sunday of May each year.
