Housed in a former Baptist church built in 1866, the Kapunda Museum showcases the rich history of Australia's oldest copper mining town. The museum's extensive collection spans 11,000 square feet, featuring artifacts that reflect the town's life through home, work, sport, and farming. Notable exhibits include displays on copper mining, agricultural implements, the Hawke Foundry, and social life. Managed by the Kapunda Historical Society Inc., the museum is open daily from 1 pm to 4 pm, except on Christmas Day. Admission fees are $5 for adults, $3 for concessions, $2 for children, and $12 for families.
