Junee Roundhouse Railway Museum

The Junee Roundhouse Railway Museum, located at 92 Harold Street in Junee, NSW, is one of the few working railway roundhouses in the Southern Hemisphere. Opened in 1947, it features a 100-foot turntable and 42 tracks, serving as a significant transport heritage site in New South Wales. The museum showcases a variety of exhibits, including steam and diesel locomotives, passenger carriages, and a working model railway. Visitors can explore the rich history of Australia's rail heritage through guided and self-guided tours. The museum operates from Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with the last admission at 3:30 pm. Admission fees are $10 for adults, $5 for concessions, and $25 for a family of two adults and two children.
