Nestled at the confluence of the Goobarragandra and Tumut Rivers, this serene park offers a tranquil retreat just minutes from Tumut's center. Ideal for picnics, it features shaded areas and picnic tables. The Goobarragandra River is popular for swimming in summer, while the Tumut River is suitable for kayaking or canoeing. During trout season, fishing is excellent. Birdwatchers can find kingfishers, dollar birds, robins, water birds, rosellas, parrots, cockatoos, finches, robins and fairywrens, along with the more common kookaburras, magpies, ravens and crows, magpie larks and willie wagtails that are just about always visible in the region.
