Japanese Garden and Tea House

Nestled within the Campbelltown Arts Centre, the Japanese Garden and Tea House offer a serene escape into traditional Japanese aesthetics. A gift from Campbelltown's sister city, Koshigaya, in 1988, the garden features a tranquil koi pond, a traditional waterfall, a timber bridge, stone pathways, and lush plantings. At its heart stands a handcrafted 16th-century-style tea house, embodying the principles of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility central to the Japanese tea ceremony. The Arts Centre Café overlooks the gardens, providing a scenic dining experience.
