The Inverell Netball Courts, located within the Inverell Sports Complex, are undergoing significant upgrades to enhance their quality and safety. In December 2024, the Inverell Shire Council secured $1.4 million in federal funding to replace six aging netball courts. This project aims to provide accessible, welcoming, and inclusive facilities, with a particular focus on encouraging participation in sport and physical activity among women and girls. The new courts will feature a concrete base and a single-colour plexipave surface, ensuring a safer and more durable playing environment. The completion of this project will restore the Inverell Netball Complex to a high-quality, safe, and accessible facility that can host a range of activities and events.
