Infantry Museum - Lone Pine Barracks

The Australian Army Infantry Museum, located at Lone Pine Barracks in Singleton, NSW, preserves the history and traditions of the Infantry Corps. Its collection spans from the colonial armies of the 19th century to contemporary soldiers, featuring exhibits on significant campaigns like Gallipoli, Passchendaele, Kokoda, and Long Tan. The museum's displays are divided into two main areas: the lower floor focuses on operational history from Sudan in 1885 through to Afghanistan, while the mezzanine level showcases small arms and training aids, illustrating their evolution and impact on infantry tactics.
