Nestled in a beautifully restored 1830s cottage in Oatlands, The Imbibers offers an immersive Tasmanian tasting experience. Their menu features tasting flights, platters, and small plates that showcase the region's exceptional produce. The venue boasts a fully stocked bottle shop with local wines, spirits, beers, and ciders, primarily sourced from the Coal River Valley and surrounding areas. Specialties include cheese-matched wine tasting flights, gin and whisky flights, and a selection of cocktails with a local twist. The Imbibers also hosts 'meet the maker' sessions, allowing guests to engage directly with local producers. Operating hours are Wednesday to Sunday, with extended hours available by booking for groups of eight or more. Happy hours are on Friday and Saturday from 4-6 pm, and 'round the clock' tinnies are available from 5 pm on Thursdays.
