Located just beside Rockdale train station, Hut-Bazaar is Sydney's first Bangladeshi restaurant, offering authentic halal cuisine since 2007. The menu features traditional dishes like sorshe hilsa (mustard-seed and river fish curry) and kacchi biryani, renowned for its tender, aromatic, and buttery flavors. Breakfast options include paratha served with aloo vazi (semi-cooked, mustardy chopped potatoes), chili and onion scrambled eggs, and tehari (a biryani-like dish with larger meat chunks and less spice). The restaurant also operates the Red Rose Function Centre, accommodating 30 to 350 guests for various events.
