The Kingborough & Huon Business Enterprise Centre (KHBEC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering small and medium-sized businesses in Southern Tasmania's Kingborough and Huon Valley regions. Established in 2000, KHBEC offers free, confidential business advisory services, including assistance with business planning, start-up advice, financial forecasting, and guidance on GST, taxation, HR, marketing, insurance, and legal matters. The Centre also hosts networking events and workshops to connect local entrepreneurs. Supported by the State Government and local councils, KHBEC is governed by a board of local business leaders and community representatives.
