Hunter Valley Steamfest is an annual celebration of steam power, history, and family fun, held at Maitland's Garnham Grounds. The event features a spectacular collection of steam trains, including the annual ARTC Great Train Race and heritage steam train rides to various Hunter destinations. Visitors can explore The Bloomfield Group Steam Rally, showcasing antique machinery, traction and portable engines, and more. Car enthusiasts can enjoy the Altapac Show 'n' Shine, featuring over 500 classic cars, food stalls, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities. The next Steamfest is scheduled for 18 and 19 April 2026.
