Nestled in Kenley Park, Normanhurst, the Hornsby Shire Historical Society Museum offers an immersive journey into the 1930s rural life. Housed in the relocated 1900 Hornsby Drill Hall, the museum showcases permanent displays of domestic and work life, including a pre-electric kitchen, corner stove, and a schoolroom. Temporary exhibits highlight the evolution of work and leisure in the Hornsby Shire. The museum is open every Tuesday from 10 am to 2 pm and on the third Sunday of each month from 1:30 pm to 5 pm, providing a memorable experience for families, leisure groups, and school students.
