Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Folk Club, a community-based, volunteer-run not-for-profit organisation, has been hosting live folk music performances in Northern Sydney for over 40 years. Held on the third Friday of each month at Beatrice Taylor Hall, 25 Edgeworth David Ave, Hornsby, the club offers a friendly and supportive atmosphere that encourages all forms of folk music, songs, poetry, and audience participation. Doors open at 6:30 pm, with performances starting at 7 pm. Seating is at tables of six, and patrons are welcome to bring drinks and snacks. Entry is $20 ($18 for Folk Federation members); children under 16 accompanied by a parent enter free. Parking is available on-site, and the venue is a short walk from Hornsby and Waitara railway stations.
