Hopper Joint, nestled at 157 Greville Street in Prahran, offers an immersive Sri Lankan dining experience. The 80-seat venue, a collaboration between restaurateur Jason Jones and designer Brahman Perera, showcases the rich flavors of Sri Lankan cuisine. The menu features hoppers—crispy, bowl-shaped pancakes—served with curries like okra, market fish, and spicy prawn, accompanied by sambols. The interior, inspired by tropical modernism, includes custom rattan chairs, amber glassware, and antique chandeliers, creating a warm, communal atmosphere.
