The Hopgood Theatre, located in Noarlunga Centre, South Australia, is a 492-seat proscenium arch venue renowned for its diverse performances, including drama, musicals, and community events. Established in 1985 and named after the Honourable Don Hopgood in 2008, it stands as the largest professional performing arts centre in southern Adelaide. The theatre features a spacious stage, orchestra pit, and a fly tower for scenery and lighting. In 2023, the City of Onkaparinga assumed custodianship, initiating a $6 million refurbishment to modernize facilities and enhance audience experiences. The venue is temporarily closed for these upgrades, with plans to reopen in late 2025.
