Established in 1924, the Hopetoun Bowling Club offers a welcoming environment for both local and visiting lawn bowlers. The club features synthetic and grass greens, accommodating various skill levels. Annual events like the week-long Bowls Carnival in April attract over 230 participants nationwide. Regular activities include Saturday and mid-week pennant teams, with training on Wednesday evenings, as well as winter social bowls on Sundays. The barefoot bowls program, with over 20 teams annually, provides a fun introduction to the sport for all ages.
