Every Thursday evening, Hope Café in Fawkner opens its doors to offer a free three-course meal to the community. Located at 9 Lee Street, adjacent to St Mark's Catholic Church, the café provides a welcoming space where individuals can enjoy a hot meal and connect with others. The menu features dishes like chicken casserole, cottage pie, and corned beef with mushroom sauce, accompanied by salads, baked potatoes, and fresh desserts. Meals are prepared by dedicated volunteers using fresh, local ingredients, with support from local businesses and organizations. The café operates from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, and all are welcome to join.
