
Holts Flat is a tranquil hamlet in the Snowy Monaro Regional area of New South Wales, Australia. Situated approximately 354 kilometers south-southwest of Sydney, it lies at an elevation of 1,101 meters. The area encompasses about 34.79 square kilometers, predominantly zoned for primary production. Historically, Holts Flat was served by a small railway siding established to support local farms; the station, constructed as a PC-1 concrete building, was closed in 1975. Today, the hamlet offers a serene rural environment, characterized by expansive grasslands and few trees, providing a peaceful retreat from urban life.
