Historic Engines, located in Murtoa, Victoria, showcases a remarkable collection of antique engines and machinery. The centerpiece is a set of four massive single-piston Richard-Hornsby engines, dating back to 1910, which are believed to be the only set remaining on their original foundations worldwide. These engines were originally installed to generate power and refrigeration for the Wimmera Inland Freezing Works in 1911. Visitors can witness these engines in operation during special viewing days, where additional engines and artifacts from the society's collection are also displayed.
