Located within the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens, the Hinkler Hall of Aviation honors the legacy of Bert Hinkler, Australia's pioneering solo aviator. The museum's design mirrors an aircraft wing, housing interactive exhibits, flight simulators, and displays of six aircraft, including Hinkler's original Avro Baby. Adjacent to the hall, Hinkler House, his relocated English home "Mon Repos," offers a glimpse into his personal life. Visitors can also enjoy Café 1928, set amidst the gardens, providing a unique dining experience. The museum is open daily from 9 am to 3 pm, with special rates for local residents.
