Located in Hindmarsh's former volunteer Fire Brigade Building and Christian Chapel, the Hindmarsh Fire and Folk Museum showcases the area's rich history. Operated by the Hindmarsh Historical Society, it features artifacts from the 1880s onwards, including a restored 1927 Chevrolet Fire Engine and a 1890 Wooden Hand Cart. The museum also offers insights into local heritage through extensive displays of objects, images, and documents. Open on Wednesdays from 9 am to 12 noon and the first and third Sundays from 2 pm to 4 pm, with special arrangements for group visits.
