Nestled within the Barossa Regional Gallery in Tanunda, the Hill & Son Grand Organ is Australia's oldest concert organ, originally built in 1875 for the Adelaide Town Hall. This 20-tonne, 10-metre-tall instrument has been meticulously restored by a dedicated community over 14 years, culminating in its relocation to Tanunda in 1997. Visitors can explore its intricate workings and rich history through the weekly 'Tour, Talk and Taste' sessions held every Wednesday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. The gallery is open daily from 11 am to 4 pm, offering free access to this musical masterpiece.
