Hewitson Theatre - STARplex

Located within the STARplex complex in Evanston Park, the Hewitson Theatre is a versatile venue accommodating up to 1,200 guests in theatre style, 550 in cabaret or banquet style, and 1,500 in cocktail style. Equipped with modern sound, lighting, and audio-visual systems, it hosts a variety of events, including conventions, seminars, drama and musical performances, cabaret shows, dance and youth theatre, graduations, exhibitions, trade fairs, business and social functions, parties, and weddings. The theatre features a spacious main stage, large wing spaces, and a downstairs Green Room with private changing areas, mirrors, and toilets. Additional backstage and side rooms offer significant preparation spaces, most with stage feed capabilities. STARplex also provides smaller rooms for hire, catering to diverse event needs.
