Herberton Range Conservation Park, located west and south of Atherton on the Atherton Tableland, offers a diverse natural landscape encompassing high-altitude rainforests, endangered wet sclerophyll forests, and open woodlands. Visitors can explore the park's network of walking trails, including the 520-meter return Halls Falls track, which leads to picturesque waterfalls. The park also features the 17.5-kilometer Herberton Range Ridge Road, suitable for four-wheel-drive vehicles, and the Atherton Forest Mountain Bike Park, offering trails for various skill levels. Horse riding is permitted on designated trails, and camping is available in Baldy Mountain Forest Reserve. The area is part of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, home to unique flora and fauna.
