Established on February 11, 1908, Helensburgh-Stanwell Park Surf Life Saving Club is among the world's oldest surf life saving clubs. Located at 1 Beach Road, Stanwell Park NSW 2508, the club patrols Stanwell Park Beach, the northernmost beach on the Illawarra Coast. With approximately 60 active patrolling members and 180 junior "nippers," the club is a strong force in life saving, locally and throughout the country. The club also offers its facilities for hire, accommodating various functions such as wedding receptions, corporate events, and meetings.
