Hawthorn Artist Society

Located in the Basement of the Hawthorn Arts Centre, the Hawthorn Artist Society has been a vibrant hub for Australian artists for over forty years. This inclusive space offers a variety of artistic sessions, including life drawing, painting, printing, sculpture, and collage. Members can participate in term-based classes, workshops led by acclaimed artists, and both tutored and untutored sessions throughout the week. The society also hosts En Plein Air events across Melbourne and periodic lectures by professional artists. Annual members-only exhibitions showcase the diverse talents within the community.
