Established in 2002, Harrington United Football Club, affectionately known as "The Hornets," has grown from a modest group of 40 members to a vibrant community club. Serving Harrington Park and surrounding areas, the club offers football opportunities for all ages, from Under 6s to Over 35s, competing in the Macarthur Football Association. In 2022, the Under 18-21 Ladies team achieved a historic treble, winning the premiership, championship, and Football NSW's Champions of Champions tournament. The club is set to enhance its facilities at Charker Drive, with redevelopment plans for new fields, amenities, and parking commencing in late 2023.
