Hardings Falls is a picturesque, multi-tiered cascade waterfall located on the Swan River, approximately 10 km from Royal George and 35–40 km from Avoca. Access is via McKays Road, an unsealed forestry road; a 4WD or AWD vehicle is highly recommended due to steep and rough conditions. From the car park, a 20-minute return walk through eucalypt forest leads to a lookout at the top of the falls. A steep, rocky descent provides access to the river's base, where visitors can enjoy picnic spots on the rock platforms lining the river.
