Hampton Scout Group, located at the corner of Ludstone and Kingston Streets in Hampton, VIC 3188, offers an engaging and adventurous program for youth aged 6 to 25. Formed in 2015 through the merger of 1st and 2nd Hampton Scout Groups, it serves the Hampton and neighboring Bayside suburbs. The group is entirely community-run, with all leaders volunteering their time to help young people develop life skills, achieve their goals, and become active community members. Scouting provides opportunities for leadership, resilience, confidence, and teamwork. All are welcome to join, regardless of gender or background. Notable individuals who have been Scouts include Shane Jacobson, Dick Smith, Rove McManus, Peter Garrett, Bert Newton, Jon Faine, David Beckham, Tony Blair, Paul McCartney, Jamie Oliver, and Bear Grylls.
