Hallsville, a satellite town of Tamworth in New South Wales, is situated approximately 12.5 km north along the Manilla Road. Established in the mid-1800s, the area has a rich agricultural heritage, with grazing and crop production being significant contributors to its economy. The town is named after John Hall, who, along with his wife Jane, settled here in 1877. John Hall played a pivotal role in founding the Hallsville Methodist Church in 1894, which remains a central community landmark. As of the 2016 census, Hallsville had a population of 532 residents.
