Constructed in 1879, the Gunning Court House is a fine example of late Victorian architecture, featuring a double-height central courtroom flanked by single-storey office wings. Originally serving as a police station and courthouse, it ceased judicial functions in 1979. Today, the building operates as a community centre, housing the Gunning District Community and Health Service. The central courtroom hosts special events and arts activities, including chamber music performances and art exhibitions. The courtroom is open for inspection monthly during the Gunning Lions Markets on the last Sunday of each month.
