Adjacent to the park, the Gunnamatta Bay Tidal Baths provide a netted swimming area with a sandy beach, perfect for children and lap swimming. The park features free public barbecues, shelters, and accessible facilities, including toilets, changing rooms, and showers in the Gunnamatta Pavilion. Dogs on-leash are permitted on walkways but are prohibited near the playground and beach areas. On-street parking is available along Nicholson Parade, with accessible spaces on Waratah Street near Tonkin Street. Alcohol consumption is prohibited without prior council approval.
