Gulgong Pioneers Museum

Located in the heart of historic Gulgong, the Gulgong Pioneers Museum showcases a rich collection of Australiana within the former Times Bakery and Produce Store. Established in 1962, the museum features domestic tools, farm and mining equipment, horse-drawn vehicles, early photographs, Aboriginal and geological artefacts, and period clothing. Notable exhibits include a fully restored Cobb and Co. coach and the Museum of Sight and Sound, dedicated to Australian cinematography and sound recording history. The museum spans 1.5 acres, encompassing three relocated buildings and an original streetscape, offering an immersive experience into Gulgong's gold rush era.
