Growing Wild Classroom

The Growing Wild Classroom at Melbourne Zoo offers an immersive educational experience for children aged three to eight. This interactive play area features animal sculptures, tunnels, and sounds, encouraging young visitors to explore and let their imaginations run wild. Among its residents are the Aldabra Giant Tortoises, the oldest inhabitants of the zoo, and the slender-tailed meerkats, known for their social behavior and digging habits. The classroom is open daily from 9 am to 4:30 pm, providing a dynamic learning environment for young animal enthusiasts.
