Great Lakes Nursing Home, now known as Cedar Wharf Lodge, is a residential aged care facility located at 27-31 Crawford Street, Bulahdelah, NSW 2423. Established in 1991, it has a rich history of providing quality care to the community. The facility offers comfortable single rooms with ensuites, set amidst beautiful gardens and peaceful country views of Alum Mountain. Residents can enjoy various lounge and dining areas, a verandah, courtyard, and outdoor spaces equipped with walking paths, outdoor furnishings, and a BBQ area. In 2017, Anglican Care took over the facility, and in 2022, it was announced that Cedar Wharf Lodge would close on May 30, 2022, due to its age and inability to support the quality of care needed. However, in September 2024, a local provider purchased the facility, promising to reopen and provide aged care services for the community.
