The Granny Smith Festival, held annually in Eastwood, NSW, celebrates the legacy of Maria Ann Smith, the creator of the Granny Smith apple. The 40th anniversary festival is scheduled for Saturday, 18 October 2025, from 9:00 am to 8:30 pm. The event features amusement rides, market stalls, food trucks, live performances, a youth zone, and children's activities. The day concludes with a grand finale show and a spectacular fireworks display. The festival embodies a strong community spirit, with over 200 stallholders, 500 performing artists, and up to 1,000 local participants in the grand street parade.
