Grannies Pool, nestled along the Swansea Channel at Blacksmiths Beach, is a shallow tidal inlet cherished by families for its calm waters and sandy shores. Protected by a breakwall, it offers a safe environment for children to wade and splash. The area features accessible parking and a 50-meter ramp leading directly to the beach, accommodating prams and wheelchairs. While the pool itself lacks facilities, nearby Blacksmiths Playground provides public toilets and picnic areas. To reach Grannies Pool, follow Gommera Street to the right-hand side of Blacksmiths Beach, where a dirt parking area and ramp are located.
