The GrainCorp silos in Thallon, Queensland, are renowned for their striking mural, "The Watering Hole," painted in 2017 by artists Joel Fergie and Travis Vinson. This artwork spans four 30-meter-high silos and vividly depicts the Moonie River, a Thallon sunset, and the region's agricultural heritage. A scarred tree within the mural honors the local Indigenous community. The mural was inspired by local photographers' works and took three weeks to complete, utilizing approximately 500 liters of paint and 500 spray cans.
