GrainCorp Boree Creek, established in 1999, features eight 3,000-tonne Cyclone silos, facilitating efficient grain storage and handling. The site operates with a PLC touch screen system, enabling seamless grain transfer between silos at a rate of 250 tonnes per hour. Over the years, it has managed substantial grain throughput, including rice during the early 2000s drought. The facility has required minimal maintenance since its inception, reflecting its robust design and operational efficiency. Notably, the late Hon Tim Fischer attended the site's opening ceremony.
