The Government House Ballroom, spanning 42 meters in length and 16.7 meters in width, is longer than the ballroom at Buckingham Palace. It features three original crystal chandeliers by Oslers of Birmingham, each with over 1,000 pieces of crystal. The Minstrels’ Gallery, adorned with a semi-circular sound shell and musical motifs, provides a space for musicians during functions. The State Chair, used exclusively by the Monarch or their representative, is intricately carved with symbols representing the United Kingdom. The Ballroom has hosted various events, including award ceremonies, concerts, and community celebrations.
