Nestled along the Wollondilly River at Marsden Weir, the Goulburn Historic Waterworks Museum showcases the city's pioneering 1880s water supply system. The pumphouse houses the original Appleby Bros. Beam Engine and Galloway Boilers, making it the only complete, operational steam-powered municipal water supply in its original location in the Southern Hemisphere. Visitors can explore the museum, enjoy riverside picnics, and participate in annual events like the Steampunk Victoriana Fair. The museum is open Saturday through Tuesday, 10 AM to 4 PM.
